Arnold & Son is a boutique brand that takes its name from John Arnold, an innovative 18th Century English watchmaker known for his technical skill, with chronometers a speciality.  Though the brand has British roots, today all components are manufactured in Switzerland at La Chaux-de-Fonds, the home of the Swiss watchmaking industry. Arnold & Son are best known for producing complicated movements with a high level of finish.

This is something very obvious when one views the Globetrotter, a 24-hour world-timer in stainless steel with a hand-stitched leather strap. Make no mistake, this is all about haute horlogerie engineering and finishing! From their Instrument Collection, the standout features is the 3D ‘view of the earth’ at the centre of the dial, which is suspended from a central, forked bridge. Attention to detail is amazing, with blue hand-filled lacquer for the oceans, while the shoreline has Super-LumiNova so glows at night. The red hour/minute hands are set behind all this, so are only partially visible.

Buy this…if you want something truly unique on your wrist! Be warned, people will stop and ask you about it, a lot!
