Rolex GMT Master 16700 ‘Pepsi’ Black Dial Stainless Steel 40mm

This is the Rolex GMT-Master ref. 16700, which was in production from 1988 until it was discontinued in 1999. It has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, three-link stainless steel Oyster bracelet, cyclops date window and a red arrow-tipped 24-hour hand. Any GMT-Master II with a red/blue bidirectional rotatable bezel is known as ‘Pepsi’ – after the famous drinks brand’s colours and logo. ‘Pepsi’ has been in existence since the first Ref. 6542 all the way to the current ceramic Ref. 126710BLRO.
